Round Up: January 2015

It's the new year and a lot of new starts for most people. Millions of people all around the world will be setting new years resolutions. Losing weight, saving more money for that house, getting fit, whatever it may be the new year tends to evoke the idea of new prospects. If it works for you and you keep up the motivation then great. Keep going.

For me, this month means the start of this website. I have been active for many years now and been told I like to tell a story. So I decided to set up this blog and tell you guys all about what I get up to and offer any advice. If you click here you can read all about why I have set up this blog and what I plan to offer. If you have any ideas for me or things you would like to read about then I am all ears. It's a learning curve so please bare with me.

I had my first trip away of the year. Snowboarding at a place called Morzine in the French Alps and it was fantastic. You can check my blog here and read all about it and see the pictures I have taken. We had a big group this year which was fantastic. Snowboarding is definitely the common sport amongst my friends that brings us all in for the annual winter pilgrimage to the Alps. It's great fun to all be together and socialise.

As the weather has been a bit adverse lately it has given me a chance to spend more time in the climbing gym. I'm not too good going to normal gyms and training as I get bored very easily, so combining my hobbies with keeping fit is a great way of keeping up the motivation. I'm hoping to pick up my grades this year as I feel I've levelled out. So this will be interesting to see how that goes. No pain no gain I guess.

I hope you guys have had a great month. Keep me posted on anything you have been up to. Always love hearing from like minded people about their adventures. Have fun!
